The Artist

The artwork was created by Paul Herzich from mantirridesign, an Aboriginal owned landscape architecture, public and visual art design practice that creatively integrates markers of Aboriginal culture into the design and fabric of landscapes and architectural projects. Paul Herzich is a multi-award-winning Kaurna/Ngarrindjeri Registered Landscape Architect + Public and Visual Artist who has a passion for the integration of Aboriginal cultures within landscape and architectural projects and he has a strong focus on the health and well-being, and representation of Aboriginal people, art, culture, and Country in the public realm. With over 30 years in the landscape industry and over 17 years in the public visual art industries, Paul has considerable experience in designing and delivering landscapes, public and visual art projects for both state and local government agencies and for local and interstate architectural companies.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

Riverbanks College B-12 acknowledge the Kaurna people as the traditional custodians of this land that we live, work and learn on. We recognise that this land always was and always will be Aboriginal land and we pay our respects to elders, past, present and future.
