Families wanting to enrol must be living within the Riverbanks Preschool Catchment Area and or School Zone.
Riverbanks College is under a capacity management plan, if student capacity is reached in either Preschool or Primary School, families will be redirected to their nearest local sites being Angle Vale Preschool and Angle Vale Primary School.
Children are entitled to access 4 terms (1 year) of government preschool in the year before they start school.
If your child turns 4 years,
- before 1 May they are eligible to start preschool at the beginning of the year. (Term 1)
Families will be notified of their expression of interest outcomes via email by close of business on Friday the 1 August 2026.
If your child turns 4 years,
- on 1 May to 31 October can commence preschool in term 3 (midyear intake)
Families will be notified of their expression of interest outcomes via email by close of business on Friday the 20 February 2026.
If your child turns 4 years after 31 October, they will be eligible to commence preschool at the start of the following year.
Expression of interest for 2027 will open May 2026.
If your child turns 5 years,
- before 1 May they are eligible to start school at the beginning of the year. (Term 1)
Families will be notified of their expression of interest outcomes via email by close of business on Friday the 1 August 2026.
If your child turns 5 years,
- between 1 May and 31 October can commence school in term 3 (midyear intake) Students enrolled through a midyear intake will complete 6 terms of reception.
Families will be notified of outcomes of their expression of interest via email by close of business on Friday the 20 February 2026.
If your child turns 5 years after 31 October will be eligible to commence school at the start of the following year.
Expression of interest for 2027 will open May 2026.
Families wanting to transfer to Riverbanks College as a Primary or Secondary student must be living within Riverbanks school zone.
If you are currently building, you must be living within the school zone prior to assessment of enrolment.
Families will be notified of outcomes of their expression of interest via email by close of business on Friday the 31 October 2025.
