We are looking forward to meeting all of our students and families at the upcoming R-8 enrolment interviews. If your child has a potential barrier to success (disability, learning, social or behaviour difficulties) that impacts on their learning and well-being and you feel that they would benefit from having additional transition support we would love for you to come along to our community pop up event to meet the inclusion team to discuss.
We have had many questions regarding bus services. Subject to new enrolments, school bus services will most likely be arranged by the Department’s Transport Services Unit, for year 7 and 8 students who reside in the Two Wells, Lewiston and Virginia districts in accordance with the Department’s School Transport Policy criteria.
Rory’s Group will be providing healthy and nutritious school lunches for all Riverbanks College students and will have a cafeteria onsite for the older students, teachers and parents. Click on the link below to find out more information.

Towards the end of last term, our Year 6 students had a blast at the West Lakes Aquatics Centre! 🌊
Despite the cooler weather, their enthusiasm for sailing, canoeing, kayaking, and surfing was off the charts! Is there any chance of having the morning time extended slightly (8.50) so that the preschool families can come and have a look too? Otherwise that’s a long time for the children to wait before preschool opens. In the afternoon the preschool parents try to get away before school finishes so there is room for school parents to park.
Preschool families are more than welcome to come in up until this time and take a look and / or purchase educational resources... We look forward to seeing you in week 2 🙂 It will be an exciting time at Riverbanks College B-12
Learning Conversation (Parent/Teacher Interviews) Reminder
Our learning conversation will take place on Thursday 9 May from 2.30pm to 7.30pm. There are also appointments available for primary years, in the afternoons, throughout next week.
These conversations provide opportunities for parents/caregivers and teachers to actively engage in dialogue reflecting on Term 1, particularly focusing on:
• What the students have learned
• What the students need to know next
• How teachers, students, parents, or caregivers can support these next steps

Last day of school is Friday 12 April. On this day, students will be dismissed at the earlier time of 2.15pm.
For families using school buses, including Adelaide Metro, please be aware that all buses will depart Riverbanks College at 2.30pm.
If your child attends OSHC services on Fridays, OSHC will be open from 2.15pm onwards.

🌟 Empowering our Year 10 girls with FOCUS sessions! 🌟
A small group of our Year 10 girls embarked on their first FOCUS session. This meaningful initiative allowed our female students to engage in small groups with inspiring female executives, who served as role models and mentors. These mentors generously shared their career journeys and challenges, profoundly influencing our students as they navigate their future possibilities.
The first session introduced the students to various leadership styles, helping them recognise their strengths, and guiding them in creating their own leadership vision.
We are excited to see how these girls will implement these newfound skills in the future.
