We are looking forward to meeting all of our students and families at the upcoming R-8 enrolment interviews. If your child has a potential barrier to success (disability, learning, social or behaviour difficulties) that impacts on their learning and well-being and you feel that they would benefit from having additional transition support we would love for you to come along to our community pop up event to meet the inclusion team to discuss.
We have had many questions regarding bus services. Subject to new enrolments, school bus services will most likely be arranged by the Department’s Transport Services Unit, for year 7 and 8 students who reside in the Two Wells, Lewiston and Virginia districts in accordance with the Department’s School Transport Policy criteria.
Rory’s Group will be providing healthy and nutritious school lunches for all Riverbanks College students and will have a cafeteria onsite for the older students, teachers and parents. Click on the link below to find out more information.

Same as the drop off and pick up right outside the inclusion units. Can I confirm this bay is for families who children need to access their classes in the unit by parking here/for taxis, or is it for anyone to park there as that’s what’s happening at the moment.

Book Week Parade | Monday 26 August | 9.00am
Join us for our Book Week Parade where imagination takes flight and books come to life!
Dress up as your favourite magical character and let's celebrate the magic of reading together.
Parents are welcome to come along and gather in the piazza area to watch the parade, which will begin at 9.00am and conclude at 9.50am. Please be mindful when taking photos, they are only of your own child and that you do not upload any photos to any social media platform that may have other children visible.
We look forward to seeing your children dressed as their favourite book character. Please remember dress ups need to be school appropriate. We ask that any hair spray or face paint is done at home prior to coming to school.

The amount of the primary school parents rushing through the high school zone because they're running late is rediculous.... They need to remember and understand that that area is 25 also... so do 25... not 50 just so your child isn't late to Primary School. 🤦♀️

Governing Council have been working with Playford City Council on behalf of parents to negotiate improved traffic management at school drop off and pick up times.
One of the parking bays on Harvest Boulevard has amended signage. Please take note of the new parking conditions. Drivers must not leave their vehicle unattended during the times displayed on new signage.

May I please ask why there is no 5min time limit to make this a true drop off/pick up zone?
Kelly Roberts unless it has changed the school side of Riverbanks rd is only 5mins parking (not that people pay any mind to it), besides this one section (which is between the 2 crossings on Harvest Boulevard) the rest of the school side of the road on Harvest is 15mins.
Are Playford council going to be enforcing this though? I only ask as I saw people parked in the space this morning, I don't park in this section but the large signs aren't hard to miss (I spotted them this morning)
I hope someone is also going to police the inclusive unit drop off and pick up zones it states only those with a disability permit can use this area but a lot of junior primary parents use the area blocking the parents/ caregivers access to the unit. They get out of the car and don't return until they have collected their child/ren. A lot of the children in the unit have limited mobility and parents/ caregivers need to put their child/ren in the car and load walking equipment or wheelchairs and require adequate space to collect their child/ren
Also there are parents that stop on the road blocking traffic to allow their kids to jump out quickly (without parking at all) and run off the road over the parking spaces and into school.
So often staff take up almost the entire other side of the road, leaving limited spaces for the parents. Would be nice if staff didn’t utilise the road
This is incredibly frustrating for daycare drop off/pick up. It took me 20 minutes to get a park yesterday for a 5 minute pick up. It doesn't help that the car parks literally don't fit a standard size car, let alone anything bigger so you can't get in/out off the car.

We are incredibly proud of our students from years 4 to 6 who participated in the district basketball carnival. 🏀
Both our boys' and girls' teams played 7 games, winning 6 and losing only 1. It was a fantastic display of teamwork and skill throughout the day!
