We have had many questions regarding bus services.  Subject to new enrolments, school bus services will most likely be arranged by the Department’s Transport Services Unit, for year 7 and 8 students who reside in the Two Wells, Lewiston and Virginia districts in accordance with the Department’s School Transport Policy criteria.

Our Year 10 Outdoor Education classes embarked on a three-day bushwalking camp at Mount Crawford Forest! Students practiced essential outdoor skills such as navigation, cooking on a Trangia, packing a rucksack, setting up a tent, and lighting a campfire. 🏕️🔥

As students trekked through the forest, new friendships blossomed, unforgettable memories were made, and individual challenges were conquered. We're incredibly proud of the grit and collaboration shown by all students over these three days.

Our Primary students enjoyed enlightening performances by Lori, David, and their puppets Ariel and Tom from Camp Quality. For over 33 years, Camp Quality has delivered educational programs about supporting those facing cancer. 🎗️

The interactive shows covered important themes like understanding cancer, its treatments, and how to support those affected, all while keeping our students engaged and laughing.

A special shoutout to our students for their kindness and support for a fellow student currently undergoing treatment. We are so proud of our compassionate and resilient school community!

Thank you Riverbanks College for help and support.

I keep forgetting to ask my son what he thought of this. He was such an amazing little support while we all dealt with me going through treatment. Too many kids get left out because adults want to protect them. My little one came to my chemo sessions , xrays, radiation and other appointments as I didn't want to hide anything from him. I think it helped him deal with it better too

Our teachers are encouraging ‘Safety First’ behaviours on Riverbanks Road and Harvest Boulevard, but we need our community to help us!

🛑Speed Limit: 50, or 25 if children are present.
🚸When dropping off students, please use the footpath side for their safety.
🚶Don't forget to use one of the 4 school crossings to safely cross the road.

Ensure pedestrians are given right of way at all crossings – including crossings at traffic lights on Angle Vale Road.

Let's keep our school zone safe and sound!

Id like to add... Its illegal to queue around the round about, please don't do this. If there are no parks available on the verge area on the north side of Riverbanks Road, do not park in the middle of the road. This is very dangerous. I'm aware the parking for drop offs and pick ups are inadequate, but this needs to be taken up with the playford council and or DIT. It's important to provide a safe environment for our children. Thank you.

The shrubs near where the children's crossings are need to be cut back or removed.hard to see when children are crossing the road as they are the same height as some of the kids

It surprises me that a bunch of adults have to reminded of this. I have had multiple cars sit right up my backside when I was doing 25, I have seen cars had to slam on their brakes at crossings while kids were crossing, I've seen cars drive through school crossings while children were crossing, this is absolutely disgusting and shocking behaviour around children!!

Thank you 🙏

How many cars also stop in the queue and let their kids jump in or out of the car instead of parking and letting them out safely! Only a matter of time before there is an accident 😔

Bunch of Karens Get out do something say somthing be proactive call the school Also u forgot about the parents that stop on the road yell at the kids get the F in the car??? That’s a daily occurrence

It happens at every school unfortunately. Also might be a good idea if the teachers on crossing duty stay off their phones. Plus the bushes at all the crossings obstruct view so they need to be trimmed or removed.

I've logged the parking issue multiple times on the snap send solve app so if I can ask that other parents also do the same then we might get some action. My daughter had a near miss at a crossing this year so I also advised the school so they were aware. I'd also suggest parents log the bushes needing trimming on the app as well as I've done it previously and they were attended quickly.

Maybe road safety would be great for your student's that catch a bus aswell

When is the kiss and drop signs going to be replaced? They should read 5 min not 15 all the way around, I was told by school it was getting fixed 2 years ago

Off topic but when are teachers going to put a stop to allowing the kids to leave school premises once they have been dropped off in the morning? I see so many walking to to servo straight past the teachers on duty. If anything happens to the child school is liable

Maybe fix the car parking up and u wouldn't have a problem make a CAR PARK INSTEAD OF A 1 WAY STREET
